Problem
One of the significant problems concerning electricity usage in Indonesia is the lack of awareness and accountability among households, leading to inefficient consumption patterns. Despite households contributing to 36% of the total electricity consumption in the country, there is a prevalent absence of accurate electricity billing systems or readily accessible electricity usage data for the public. This lack of transparency and accountability results in unchecked electricity usage behaviors, as households remain uninformed about their actual electricity consumption levels and the associated costs. Consequently, without adequate monitoring and regulation, households are prone to overconsumption, leading to unnecessary energy wastage and increased environmental impact.

Solution
To address the problem of inefficient electricity usage in Indonesia, we propose the development of a comprehensive mobile application designed to provide households with reliable electricity billing systems and improved access to consumption data. This app aims to empower users to make informed decisions regarding their energy usage and promote sustainable energy practices nationwide.
By providing households with access to reliable electricity billing systems and consumption data, this mobile application has the potential to revolutionize the way Indonesians manage their energy usage. By promoting awareness, education, and community engagement, the app will empower users to make informed decisions that not only reduce their energy bills but also contribute to a more sustainable future for Indonesia.

Research
The research was conducted on 68 respondents who live in the city. 85.7% of total respondents have tried to reduce their home electricity use, but still don't know the right way to maximize it, and the rest have not yet started but already know that reducing electricity use can have a good impact on them

Persona
With a bunch of knowledge of the audience, as well as their goals and needs, I use the user persona to represent ke audience segments. It helps me focus on tackling the most important problems - to address the major needs of the most important user groups. It is both fictional and realistic.

Iteration
Based on feedback from the mentors, peers, and users feedback, I revisited the design.
In the redesign process, I changed the highlighted points from electricity usage information to billing information. This was done because some user feedback prioritized knowing billing information first compared to too technical information such as power, watts, and kWh.
Real-time electricity usage information remains important information after billing information because based on the user feedback, we found that it was very helpful for users to know and also monitor their electricity usage so that in the future they can be wiser in using it.
